Hi Kelli and Babs,
I am a pretty new mom of twin girls who were born early. They are now 1 year old and very healthy. My experience impacted me in an amazing way. I have started a new charity that has allowed me to use that impact in a positive and charitable way. I am trying to figure out the best way to spread the word and would love any thoughts you guys may have for me. What you all are doing is amazing and maybe since you come into contact with so many preemie moms there is a way for you to spread the word. If you have a few minutes to take a look at my mini-site it has all of the information about what I'm doing. I would love any advice, help, or ideas you could give me. Thank you so much I truly appreciate your time as I know you are very busy. One day I would love to be a part of Hand to Hold as well. :)
Thank you,
Amber Collier
Hi Amber,
Thanks for reaching out. Congrats on this venture. It is so inspiring to meet a mom who has turned the NICU experience into an opportunity to help fellow parents.
I am going to facebook about your service tonight to our 780 facebook and twitter followers. (www.facebook.com/handtohold,twitter.com/atx_handtohold)
Would you and your husband please consider attending our volunteer training in Austin on Feb. 19th?
Best,
Babs
Hand to Hold A fellow NICU mom has twins who are now healthy 1 yr olds & she volunteers her time photographing preemies and their families in the NICU and beyond. Hope you'll check out her site.
